Present in 31 countries, Iberdrola has been orienting its strategy towards renewable energies for over twenty years.
The Spanish energy company is now positioned as the leader in the production of renewable energies in Europe and the United States and the world leader in Wind energy in.
Why is Iberdrola so popular today? SirEnergies explains everything to you in less than 3 minutes.

Understand who Iberdrola is

Iberdrola is a Spanish company, created in 1992, specialized in production, distribution and marketing of electricity and natural gas with a clientele of individuals and professionals. Its head office is located in Bilbao. The group now employs more than 35,000 people around the world.

Its great strength is that the group is now the world leader in wind energy thanks to the operation of wind farms around the world.

What are Iberdrola's activities in France?

It was in 2001 that Iberdrola was born in France. The company is now a alternative supplier of electricity and natural gas with a clientele of individuals And of professionals of any size (SMEs, manufacturers, major accounts).

As we said before, Iberdrola is very present in wind energy.
In France, we can cite the future commissioning of the Saint-Brieuc Bay Wind Farm (managed by the Iberdrola subsidiary: Ailes Marines), which will consist of 62 wind turbines of 8 MW for a total capacity of 496 MW.

For Bretons and the curious (or both), know that its commissioning will be carried out in 2023, and that the nearest wind turbine will be located about 16 km from the coast. This site will thus become the 4th most important installation in Iberdrola.

What are Iberdrola's offers for professionals?

Green electricity offers for professionals

Two electricity offers are offered by Iberdrola for professionals:

  • DIGIELEC PRO : offers 100% green electricity with a discount of 12% compared to the regulated rate ofEDF and a fixed price during the first year. Offer without a long-term commitment
  • IBERZEN ELEC PRO : offers 100% green electricity at a fixed price for 2 years

Natural gas offers dedicated to professionals

Like the range of electricity offers, two natural gas offers are offered for professionals:

  • DIGIGAZ PRO : fixed price during the 1st year with a discount of 12% compared to the regulated rate ofEngie, with no long-term commitment
  • IBERZEN GAZ PRO : fixed price for 2 years in order to avoid any price increase in the energy market

Iberdrola promises that the carbon impact of its customers' consumption will be fully compensated by buying carbon credits.

Electricity and gas offers to manufacturers

Iberdrola offers a tailor-made offer (gas and/or electricity) to adapt to industrial activities.

Being very committed to sustainable development, Iberdrola makes its know-how in green and 100% renewable electricity available, integrating them into its proposals to manufacturers through the emission mechanism of Certificates of Guarantees of Origin.
