A French start-up and a subsidiary of the EDF group, SoWee has been aiming since 2017 to be a connected partner committed to individuals, in particular in the control of home consumption.

Who is SoWee and what are its activities in France?

SoWee is a French start-up created in 2017, part of the EDF group, with a very clear vision: to ensure sustainable well-being in homes, by becoming an innovative player in co-connected homes.

The company is positioned as an energy supplier (gas and electricity) with a unique differentiation: offering a Connected station to allow its customers to better manage their natural gas heating expenses.

A player very committed to the energy transition since its creation, SoWee does not allow its customers to become actors in their own consumption (comfort and control of the energy budget). As you will have understood, the subsidiary ofEDF targets only individual customers.

Focus on the SoWee Connected Station

The Connected Station offered by SoWee has several advantages. First, it allows total control of the heating without changing the equipment.

Customers can therefore program, choose the ideal temperature, control by reducing or increasing temperatures, detect when windows are opened (in the case of ventilation).

Note that the Connected Station controls two types of heating:

  • electric heaters
  • gas boilers

Offer to supply energy to private customers

SoWee offers electricity and natural gas contracts only to individual customers.

  • Elec contract : fixed price per electron for 3 years
  • Gas contract : fixed price per gas molecule for 3 years
  • Energy contract + connected station : guaranteed energy price for 3 years and -5% on the gas subscription

Note that each contract can be associated (or not) with a connected Station.

How do I subscribe to a SoWee offer?

To subscribe to a SoWee energy contract, several solutions are available to you:

  • Online via the website and the dedicated contact form
  • By phone at 0 806 800 444 from Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 8 pm (excluding public holidays)

These same possibilities will be offered to cancel your contract and via your SoWee client area.
