ekWateur was created in November 2015, and is a brand of the French energy supplier Joul.

ekWateur supplies energy only to “small” individuals and professionals, i.e. with a meter power of less than 36 kVA.

Green electricity

The electricity supplied comes from production hydraulics only (for now). In the long term, it will also come from wind turbines and photovoltaics.

All the company's offers are based on a personalized quote, by manually configuring your profile on the eKwateur website, or by telephone.

Future customers can subscribe to electricity offers at a fixed price or at an indexed price (variable).

Biomethane natural gas

The green gas supplied by ekWateur is biogas (or biomethane) resulting from the decomposition of organic matter. The quality and origin of gases are guaranteed by the Guarantees of Origin mechanism.

To subscribe to a natural gas offer, the principle is the same: you must fill out an online form to integrate your delivery point information.

Future customers can choose The fixed price or indexed price option as well as The type of gas desired (5% or 100% green gas).

100% renewable firewood

Another particularity for an energy supplier, ekWateur offers 100% renewable firewood in its range of offers. It comes in the form of compressed wood logs.

The latter comes from sustainably managed French forests.

How do I subscribe to an eKwateur offer?

You have several options for subscribing to an eKwateur energy contract:
