A subsidiary of Gazelec, a historical authority in the Somme distributing gas, electricity and water, Énergies du Santerre is a new player in the supply of electricity and natural gas to a clientele of individuals and professionals.

SirEnergies explains everything to you in less than 3 minutes.

Who is Energies du Santerre and what are its activities in France?

Founded in April 2015, Énergies du Santerre is a new company on the French electricity and gas supply market.

The company offers competitive offers dedicated to individuals and professionals (businesses and communities) thanks to its relationships with producers.

Énergies du Santerre is a subsidiary of Gazelec, historic gas, electricity and water supply and distribution authority in the municipality of Péron (not to be confused with the Gazelec Congress, which is a trade show dedicated to players in the energy world).

Focus on Gazelec, historical authority of the Somme

Since 1898, the city of PERONNE has ensured the distribution of its energy, gas and electricity, through a Gas Board and an Electricity Board. These two entities were combined in January 2001 into a single autonomous authority: Gazelec de Pero ne.

Gazelec, which has historically provided the distribution of gas and electricity in the city of Péron (Somme), was chosen in 2013 to resume the distribution of drinking water in the Somme.

Under the control of the community, Gazelec still has its own Board of Directors, voting on the budget and setting the service prices.

A total of 9,000 inhabitants are served by Gazelec.
