Who is Enercoop and what are its activities in France?

Enercoop is a cooperative and a French supplier of green electricity created in 2005 and its vision is to offer a citizen alternative on the eve of the opening of electricity markets. The idea is to create a direct link between producers and consumers at the national level.

In 2020, the Enercoop network consists of 11 cooperatives, 50,000 members and more than 300 renewable electricity producers.

To prove a supply of 100% renewable green electricity, the company sources its electricity directly from more than 300 producers spread throughout France.

As you can see in the image below, green electricity comes from renewable sources such as hydropower, wind, solar and biomass.

The renewable origin is certified by the purchase of guarantee of origin.
